Below are answers to some of the many questions you may have.
How long does a wedding gown take to arrive once an order has been placed?
The average delivery time is approximately 10-16 weeks. Some manufacturers' offer a quick delivery service and may charge a "rush cut".
Which bridal designers do you stock?
We stock gowns from a large number of manufacturers and designers. These include Emerald, Ginza, DaVinci, Eden, Impressions, Jasmine, Maggie Sottero, and more.
Are there lay-away options available at Kay Bridal Shop?
Yes. At Kay Bridal Shop we have a 3 month lay-away plan that can be started on in-stock merchandise with a minimum 1/3 non-refundable deposit.
When do I need to pick up my gown?
We ask that you pick up your wedding gown as soon as possible after it arrives at our store.
Are the gowns made to measure?
Most gowns offered are not made to your measurements. One of our bridal consultants will go over the measurement and size chart with you before a size is selected. She will offer advice, but leave the final decision to you.
Some manufactures' will custom make your gown and also offer special services such as custom hollow to hem measurements.
What if you have bridesmaids that live out of state?
They can be measured anywhere as long as it is done professionally. We will need their bust, waist , and hip measurement. If a bridesmaid is over 5'8", an extra length charge from the manufacturer may be necessary. If the person is size 18 ( in some cases 16) or above, there may also be an extra charge from the manufacturer.
Do you provide an alterations service?
We do not have a seamstress in house but have a reliable referral who has been doing alterations of wedding gowns for many years.
